I don't think that a #paywall works the way that a lot of smaller #newspapers think they do.
I am sure in their heads they think: "Well if somebody finds this interesting, they will sign up and give us money so that they can read it".
In reality people just cut-and-paste the headline into Google and find another source.
Just drop the paywalls and go the ad-route; it's not 1960.
