@Kaidinn@mstdn.socialI'm trying to find AP or Reuters accounts here. None so far I can tell exist. That's what Mastodon needs. Every outlet had their Twitter accounts and we would know what happened in the world within minutes and even before it hit tv.
@Kaidinn I think we have a ways to go before there's enough of a loss of quality users and increase of highly negative users over there, combined with a massive increase in users over here, before most major news orgs establish a real presence here.
Since advertising probably won't ever work here, there's no other motivation for them to switch platforms since most major news orgs pander first to advertisers and the public, second.
I hope I'm wrong.
