Trying to bring some Celebrities to Mastodon. There will also be an influx of traffic and trolls. Are we prepared?

Let’s Use the Hashtag #TwitterToMastodon on BirdSite. People can Tweet their mastodon Username using the hashtag. Will authenticate the Ids. And if it Trends, will highlight the exodus
Just a word of Caution. Usernames are freely available here now. Anyone can take any username. So impersonation also is easy. Same handlename from Twitter doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the same person
