It's the dug out den of a wadden sea worm. Looks like what could be beneath the mounds in the Lake Turkana.

So Africa has elephants, rhinos, cows in tree tallness (giraffes), giant pigs (hippos), snakes as long as the supermarket queue (pythons), why not giant worms? Even the cats exceed the dogs!
