In the coverage of Trump's horrendous treatment of our American heroes that have won the Congressional Medal of Honor, I've not seen much mention that Joe Biden is the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom that orange chump said is a higher honor than the CMoH.
Biden's medal also came with an additional rare honor: The Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction. That additional designation has been bestowed to only three others: Pope John Paul II, Ronald Reagan and Colin Powell.

I hope that Americans are aware that the Medal of Freedom can be given to literally anyone, from any country, for any reason at the sole discretion of a President.
It's been awarded to sports figures, activists, religious figures, musicians, authors, painters, foreign dignitaries, movie stars, and a host of others. It lost a lot of its luster for me when trump
awarded it to political lackeys Jim Jordan and Devin Nunes.

I think that he awarded Devin Nunes and Jim Jordan's Presidential Medals of Freedom without any cameras present too because he knew how bad those optics would be. Trump is such a disgusting person.
@GreenFire @Barbramon1 I honestly don't see how Rush Limbaugh was any better. He single handedly brainwashed millions of people like my own stepdad who used to be a hippie in the 60s and later turned hard right thanks to listening to RL on his commute daily. I'm sure he (my stepdad) would have been a trump supporter had he lived long enough.

Yes, it is definitely true that had Rush Limbaugh been treated honestly by our media than Trumpism would have never been able to grab ahold of the U.S. government, but Nunes and Jordan were actually elected officials that helped to cover up Trump's crimes in Congress so that's why I think that the optics might be horrible of him awarding them medals.

I have a nice memory of Rush Limbaugh getting angry at me and threatening to sue me when he met me on the streets of Fort Collins selling T-shirts making fun of him and his dittoheads.
@Burnt_Veggies @GreenFire All of them are dreadful in their own right. Limbaugh started a movement that eventually resulted in a Jordan and a Nunes.
Limbaugh was a kind of godfather of maga. Eternal shame on him.

@Barbramon1 Not only does The Head Heinous cheapen everything he touches, giving the MoF to wannabe fascists is a joke, he then belittles the Congressional Medal of Honor by spewing like an idiot that the MoF is a better medal. Not only mind numbing but disgusting to see a mentally ill human, enabled by the MAGOTs, trying to play Emperor.
