@nandor @DemocracyMattersALot I just feel so helpless. I went door to door for weeks even after being hit by two hurricanes. I just feel super alienation.
@jessetmccann @DemocracyMattersALot I felt that way during Trump's first term. For this second term, I'm keeping myself upbeat by focusing on one aspect of his many terrible actions that I can make an impact on. For me, it's creating opportunities for DEI folks who are treated so badly. It's not just meaningful, but creates a supportive community of positive, like-minded people for me to be around regularly.
Do you have one thing that you can focus on that would be impactful and positive for you?
We can't fix multiple things. For most of us, we can't fix anything. But most of us *can* have an *impact* on *something*.
