Elon Musk said that’s he’s “had enough” and that a lawsuit is “inbound” after former Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) called him a “thief” and a “Nazi” on live television this week, Mediaite reports.
Said Bowman: “He’s incompetent, he’s a thief, he’s a Nazi, and people don’t trust him, period.”

Unfortunately, anyone can file suit for any number of perceived slights. Defamation would be my first guess.
And it doesn't have to be winnable, just needs to burden the respondent to the suit sufficiently to get them to stop. The very definition of SLAPP.

Elon will not only lose that lawsuit but he will cover all her expenses in defending it. What a complete moron Elon is.
Bring it on. Let's take Musk's deposition. Truth is a defense and there has to be an actual harm to reputation. This is apart from proof of actual malice.
