@InternetKevin Got around to watching It rekindled a lot of feelings I had when I saw over a year ago. That's what initially drove me to get away from centralized social media and find something like mastodon, where I found you great people. @stux @TonyStark I really appreciate the breadth of experiences offered here, which I personally lack. It helps me make bigger decisions I can't possibly make on my own limited experiences.

Just got my first skill talking. It finds the astronomy picture of the day webpage and reads the explanation. Not really super-exciting, I guess. But I'm totally stoked about it. :blobcatcheer:

We pay to Steam, Netflix, Amazon prime, Spotify. But not to Wikipedia, Archive.org, Librivox, Project Gutenberg, for our favourite Linux distro.

The huge asymmetry between corporate and community has not emerged naturally. It is a product of our choices of not supporting community oriented projects.
