The spotted #lanternfly situation here in Pittsburgh is already off the hook and it’s going to keep on rising geometrically. Every bush and tree—even the walls and porches of the houses in my neighborhood—is crawling with them. They could have done something about this last year when it wasn’t yet out of control, but all they did was track the numbers and ask people to step on them. Now it’s too late.
“Why didn’t you do something?”
“We did: we said, ‘Uh-oh.’”
