I understand that you can only pass what you can pass, but it's frustrating to see health care reform slipping away so early into the Biden administration.
The American people want affordable health care. There is a whole industry of make-work jobs around health care billing and denial of insurance claims. The people in those jobs will have to be accounted for somehow if we have a more efficient system. But we are seeing a massive shift in work overall right now. I'd rather see some kind of universal payments, and make everyone's work week 25 hours and share the work load of other jobs, than have people do unnecessary insurance-related jobs.
Unaffordable health care costs lives.
