TV and cable figured out a scheme long ago, so we don't have to subscribe and pay for individual channels (although that is breaking up a bit with streaming channels). I would gladly subscribe to a master account that gives me access to all the major publishers, but I really don't want to give up my first-born every time I want to read an article. It makes no sense.There has to be a better way.
Yessssss! It's asinine that anyone would think the current system is sustainable.
@AriM I hear you. Two suggestions.
1) Check your local library. Most have electronic copies of the publications, might be one day behind, but not always. It not & you want to see it right now,
2) Do a Google search on how to disable javascript
