I must say, after many months of hearing, almost nightly, of Trump's devastating Court losses du-jour, and pundits gushing over his ever-increasing legal jeopardy, it suddenly occurred to me that I've never known or heard of any human who, after so many crushing Court losses, is still walking around, inciting violence, sowing divisions, playing golf and dining with people hell-bent on burning this country to the ground.
Our legal system seems a bit suicidal.
@AriM but haven’t you seen that the new guy will CERTAINLY take care of him
@AriM The legal process is slow. Notice that no attorney would represent the board in Cochise County. Now, attorneys are getting the point that, if they represent someone taking a frivolous position, the attorney is going to get sanctioned. It's a new day in court. Ask Alan Dershowitz.
@AriM another example of rich and powerful living in another reality. Most of us would have settled long ago, guilty or not. It doesn’t even seem to cross his mind that he may face some real, life altering consequences.
@AriM it makes an absolute mockery of the legal system.
@AriM This may be an unpopular opinion here, but I believe that DOJ is making sure they have this thing air-tight before they reel him in.
@PamSourelis maybe, and I hope that's the case, but in the meantime the ongoing damage is enormous and perhaps irreversible.
@AriM What would be worse, or at least as bad, would be to indict before having a solid case and ending up with an acquittal. I think DOJ proved this week that they know how to win a case. The two guilty verdicts for seditious conspiracy were stunning.
@AriM
DJT is actually Eric Cartman in disguise.
@mrstevebarajas I wish him good health because I want to see him in an orange jumpsuit someday.
