Where the hell are Biden, Harris, Obama, Clinton? Have I missed any statements or guidance from them somehow? I’ve seen nothing.

And Congress. I credit some of them for many things they are doing, trying to do. Credit where due, always.

But I would think more fiery language/fight instead of weak politicalspeak would have been, you know, something they’d try? Bueller?

If I see one more speak-with-hand gesture from Jeffries, I’m gonna scream.

This is a full blown crisis. WHERE ARE THEY?

@GottaLaff again. Where were white people when it was time to vote for Kamala? You guys can’t show up to put them in office but you want to know where they are? That’s… not okay.

Especially Kamala. Leave her alone. You had your chance. Time for you people to figure it out in their own.

@ErickaSimone Um, I voted for Kamala. I showed up.

@GottaLaff doesn’t matter sweetheart. That’s not an excuse anymore. Your parents didn’t. Your siblings didn’t. Most of the people in your demographic did not.

So. Less on what Black women are doing with their time and more on why your friends didn’t show up to vote for her. You are not entitled to anyone’s time or anyone saving you. Get up and get to work yourself. You had your chance. Leave Black women, specifically Kamala, the entire fuck alone. Respectfully.

@ErickaSimone My parents did. My sibling did. ?????

Your general point is well taken, but please don’t personalize this to me or my family.

As for asking Harris to speak out, I didn’t single her out. I asked for all leaders to speak out. We need to hear from them. That’s a valid ask.

And I wasn’t asking for her, or anyone, to “save” the US. I was asking for leadership, guidance, encouragement. She and others promised after the election, they’d provide that. They haven’t yet.

@GottaLaff so here’s the thing. Why should I believe anything you say? I see what you people do, like James Baldwin said. I highly doubt your family showed up. Don’t take that personal, it’s realistic facts. You people like to lie a lot. So you think it’s going to stop now? Nah.

Respectfully, I could care less about what you take personally. Your family members and friends either chose to abstain vote against a Black woman because misogynoir, or chose to abstain vote for the nazi.

@ErickaSimone Back off.

My family and friends, and myself, voted for Harris. And as for the rest of what you’ve been accusing me of, you are way off.

Generally, I’ve told you I agree with you. But when you personalize it like this, you are crossing a line that I have not crossed with you, nor would I. We don’t even know each other.

Making points, valid or not, is fine. Making false assumptions is quite another.

@GottaLaff Yeah, I blocked and reported. Ridiculous, especially considering you were consistently telling people to stop grumbling and turn out for Harris during the election.

@Serenus @GottaLaff I did the same. Anyone, regardless of their skin colour, can be racist, and I think this was a good example. What she said was tantamount to bullying. I found her attitude incredibly offensive, & it takes a lot to offend me!

Legal definition of racism (UK)
"Racism is when a person is treated worse, excluded, disadvantaged, harassed, bullied, humiliated or degraded because of their race or ethnicity."
